Proper Packaging
It
is extremely important to properly package your microscopes &
refractometers before shipping them!
Improper packaging will result in damaged
or destroyed instruments.
We recommend the following
procedures:
For Microscopes
Print
and complete the Instrument Repair Form and
include this form with your instrument
- Place the microscope in a plastic bag
- Remove as much air as you can
- Seal it to prevent packing material from getting to the microscope
- Surround the instrument with at least
six inches of packing material on all six sides
including the top and bottom. THIS
IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!
- We recommend double boxing the unit for extra protection,
leaving three inches of packing material between the boxes on
all 6 sides
- Insure the package for it's value. If you are not sure of
it's value
please contact us and we will help you
